Travellers Notebook - Fresh Florals and Eastern Palace

Hi all

Today I have a new project to share with you all, This project I have loved working on and been super excited to show you, I couldn't help but make two to show you how different they can look.

Eastern Palace and Fresh Florals Travellers Notebooks

The covers have been made from the beautiful designer series papers and then laminated and trimmed down.

I will first show you the Eastern Palace one and explain what I have used I will also include a list of supplies at the end of this post which will be linked to my Stampin' Up! store.

Inside there is four notebooks and each one has its very own cover which has been made from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Papers, The covers have not been attached permanently to the notebooks, so the notebooks can be taken out easily and changed once filled.

Notebook 1

Notebook 2 with pocket

Notebook 3

Notebook 4

The back of the Travellers Notebook

As you can see above at the back I have attached a pocket again made from the same designer series papers, and in this pocket is four page markers made from the matching card stock in the following colours Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig each one has been decorated with the designer series papers and a tab has been added which has been made using the Tabs for Everything Bundle

The page markers are as follows: Goals, To Do, Don't Forget and Notes, I have also added some sticky notes in the pocket which are from my own stash. Throughout I have attached some very cute Star paperclips again from my own stash.

Now lets take a look at the Fresh Florals version

On this one I have attached a Berry Burst ribbon bow onto the elastic which keeps the TN closed.

Lets take a look at the inside, I have done a few different things on the inside of this one

As you can see there is a pocket on the front and then before we reach the first notebook there is a dashboard which wraps around the first notebook. This dashboard has been made from laminating pouches and the inside designs can be taken out as and when you like and changed you could even add photographs. In the front of this I have used one of the Memories and More Cards from the Perfect Days collection.

Notebook 1
On this notebook I have attached a pocket on the front of it and added the page markers into it. You can also see the other side of the dashboard which has some of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.

Back of the Dashboard and Notebook 2. On the cover of this notebook I have also added a vellum overlay which can also be decorated by stamping and heat embossing onto it.

Notebook 3 has a pocket on the front

Notebook 4 again I have added a velum overlay onto this one

The back of Notebook 4 and the TN - Another pocket right at the back on the inside of the cover

Closer look at the page markers and the dashboard. The age markers have been made from Lemon Lime Twist Card stock and Berry Burst Card stock then decorated with the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper. The dashboard is a two pocket dashboard so you can have four photographs in or four different designer series papers and so on.

The possibilities with these beautiful TN'S is endless you could do so much and add as many accessories as you like, you could even personalise it. They make great gifts and are very handy to have in your bag.

Love You Scrapbook Layout

Today I have a 12x12 Scrapbook layout to share with you all.

This layout is a very special layout as it is of my Grandad and a special tattoo I had done in his memory.

I absolutely LOVE how this layout came together, The paper I used to do my layout on is a Shimelle paper.

My Grandad was and still is my hero, my shining star who i miss dearly. He had Alzheimers, Dementia, and Cancer behind his eye he fought so hard and for so long but on the 29th October 2003 he closed his eyes one last time. No longer in pain but at peace but left a BIG hole in our hearts.
My Grandad held on for my Nan's birthday which is 28th October.

Here is some close up pictures of my layout.

The sentiment above which is in the middle of my photographs fits so so well and is so true as my Grandad is my sun my moon and all my stars.

Here is a close up of the picture of my Grandad, This is my favourite picture of him and one i cherish the most. That face and twinkle in his eye says it all. He was one of the most amazing gentlemen you would have ever met, a family man who adored us all. This man taught me so much as i was growing up we did everything together. Not a day goes by that i don't think about him.

Here is a close up of the picture of my tattoo which is on my left forearm and it reads "My Guardian Angel Grandad 28.11.25 - 29.10.03

I hope you like what I have done with this layout and I hope it gives you some inspiration to scrap those photographs of your lost loved ones. These can be the hardest layouts to do but can also be the most rewarding to know you have accomplished that difficult hurdle to make these precious photographs into a work of art.

Hi all

I hope everyone is well, apologise for how quiet I have been things have been hectic but i won't bore you all with whats been going on.

So I have started to take part in a monthly ATC swap where each month we have a theme etc and have to make 3 ATC's and send them off. This month's theme is Spring colour in the garden/park must have some stamping and layering.

I thought I would share with you all my 3 that I did for this swap

For my ATC's I have used the following products:

Brusho - Gamboge and Yellow

I love how these turned out, I think the background which I achieved by just using two Brusho colours has turned out beutifully. This screams spring to me especially with the daisies, the Life is beautiful sentiment finished these ATC's off perfectly.

All products I have used on these ATC's have been linked above.

DJ Prince

Hey All

Today I have another Scrapbook Layout to share with you all, This layout is of our beautiful pooch Prince.

Yes Prince has headphones on and yes he was singing along, The other half had the wacky idea and we couldn't stop laughing hence the photograph of Prince.

Now for some close up pictures of the layout

The sentiment fits perfectly to this layout as Prince is a Beautiful dog and sure does have his wacky moments. Prince is only about 7 Years old in the picture he is now the ripe old age of 13 years old, he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is my shadow. Such a loving boy and so so gentle but can be rough when its play time with my hubby to be, I try and nope it won't happen he prefers to snuggle up with me and shower me with kisses, well to be honest anyone he knows gets a shower lol. I am sure he forgets how big he is as he tries to sit on my lap which is a big no no so he settles for attached to my side.

He amazes me every day and I wouldn't change my snuggle monster for the world even though he can drive me up the wall at times.

Meeting Chubby Scrapbook Layout

Hello all

Today I wanted to share with you all a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout I have been busy working on and as you may have guessed from the title it is to do with the one and only Chubby Brown.

The picture featured on this layout is of myself and my eldest brother with Roy Chubby Brown. Behind the photo is a tag which I have done some journalling on about the night.

On 28th December 2013 we went to see Chubby Brown Live, which was an amazing night. We had been bought up around Chubby Brown due to my Dad being a massive fan of his. Unfortunately due to my Dad's health he couldn't come with me to watch the show, So me and my Brother went but before going and without my brother knowing, I emailed the theatre explaining about my Dad and his health and so on and asked if it would be possible to meet Chubby before his show. I can honestly say I never in a million years thought we would get that opportunity BUT I got an email back, the theatre had passed on my email to Chubby's manager who spoke with Chubby and he had agreed to meet us. I was sooooo excited so I had to call my brother straight away and yes he was buzzing too.

On the night we were both so nervous in meeting him but Roy was absolutely amazing so welcoming and such a humble down to earth guy. He asked how my Dad was and said he was so sorry to read that my Dad couldn't make it and was happy to be able to meet us on his behalf. I took Chubby's latest DVD at the time with me which was a present for my dad and got it signed he even signed his autobiography for me EEEEEKKK!!

The whole experience was AMAZING! the show was outstanding we enjoyed every single minute of it.

Here is a close up of the picture

On this layout I used the following products:

Seasons of Cheer Designer Series Paper (Retired)
Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers
Thickers

Such a simple layout but one that holds an amazing memory which had to be done as a scrapbook layout.

Facing My Fear Memories and More Layout

Today I thought I would share with you all one of my new loves - Memories and More Scrapbook Layout's in a 6x8 album.

This page layout is about when I did a Sponsored Face Your Fears which I organized back in 2013 to raise much needed funds for Staffordshire SANDS, this charity is very close to my heart.

So what was I facing?

My Fear of Spiders!!!!!

I didn't just do the usual face your fear by holding a spider.......... I went to the EXTREME
With the help if the wonderful Dale from Critterish Allsorts and his Chile Rose Tarantula called Fluffy yes you read that right her name was Fluffy!!.... So I bet your sat there thinking ok a tarantula is the going to the EXTREME - Erm nope sorry.

Going to the EXTREME was having Fluffy on my FACE!!!

Here is my layout.

This first page features some of the cards from the Memories and More card pack called Perfect Days. I took this picture before I did any journaling as some information on this layout is private.

This is the reverse side of the layout and on this side as you can see on the big photo at the bottom yes that is me lay on the floor with a Chile Rose Tarantula on my face!!!
The top right hand side includes a small collage of pictures of myself doing the face my fear there is also a picture within the collage of myself with Dale and Kyle who at that time was the Mayor of Kidsgrove and my reward for doing this big challenge was a certificate and cuddles with the beautiful Skittles ( A Skunk).

On this side of the layout again I used some of the Memories and More Cards from the Perfect Days pack, I have also used some of the beautiful Coffee Cafe DSP papers to back my photographs on.

My wonderful partner even made a video and put it on you tube. So I thought I would include it in this post for you all to see.

Products used:

I hope you have enjoyed looking at this quick layout of one of my biggest achievements. I do have a lot more pictures from doing this so I may have to do a few more layouts with those.
