Besties Scrapbook Layout

Hi all

So today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you all, this one is my first one using a cut file.

So here it is

The photo on this layout is of me and my bestie Laura, when we attended The Super Sweet Craft Retreat in October 2018 we had an absolutely amazing time, it was our first retreat too which was organised by Cal Summers and we are already booked for this year YAY!!!

The journalling says "Just a normal day at the Super Sweet Craft Retreat 2018. Me and Laura were feeling a little loopy this day, we blame lack of sleep"

Now for some close up's of the layout to show off the detail as I did make one of the butteflies a shaker using sequins from Spieglemom Scraps, and of cause I had to include some of the Tim Holtz Snarky.

I loved creating this layout with the cut file Butterflies Border from Paige Evans, it sets this layout perfectly.

I hope you like what I have done here and it inspires you :)

Simple But Effective

Hi Crafters

Today I wanted to share with you all a simple but effective card, this is to show that you do not need loads of craft supplies.

This card was done with only very minimal supplies which are all Stampin' Up!

For this card all you need are the following: I have linked each product which will take you to it on my store.
Whisper white Cardstock (make into any size card you like)
Ink Pads - Colours Used are Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay and Dapper Denim

So there we have it a simple but effective card, I love how these colours work together.

I have some exciting news to share with you all very soon and it is something for all you and will include Stampin' Up! products, keep a look out for that blog post VERY soon.

Playing With Vellum

Hello all :)

Today's post is as you can guess from the title about playing with Vellum, now I have never used vellum before and after watching one of Jennifer Ever's videos on You Tube where she did some beautiful Vellum Butterflies I just had to give it a try.

So here they are

I used the following products:
Vellum
Spectrum Noir Markers
Black Embossing Powder by WOW
Versamark Ink Pad
Visible Image Large Butterfly Stamp - left butterflies
Recollections Stamps - middle and right butterflies
Heat Tool
Stickles - Diamond and Star Dust
Do Crafts Pearl Effects

I love how these turned out, I will admit I was a little nervous with how they would turn out especially with using stickles on them but remembered that Jen's turned out beautifully and low and behold so did these, I left them over night to dry and then fussy cut them out.

I intend to use these on different projects so keep a look out for those and I am sure you will recognise them when you see them.
