Visible Image Crafty Afternoon

Hi all

Welcome back to my blog, Today I managed to get some creating done in between taking photograph's for two other blog posts which are to come over next couple of days.

So I thought I would have a Visible Image afternoon, I had two of the stamps sat on my desk for a couple of weeks so I grabbed those and was on my way.

Here is the first of two new makes today

The sentiment which is one of Visible Image's new stamps gave me the inspiration for this piece, I love how it turned out using the Joseph's Coat Technique. The supplies used for this piece were as follows:

5x7 White Card
Smooth White Matt Card
Distress Inks
Blending Tool
Visible Image Stamp Set - Leave Your Fears (is used to do the border)
Visible Image Stamp Set - Behind Every Mask (Retired)
Visible Image Stamp Set NEW RELEASE - Bold Colour

The next piece came about from experimenting a new technique with some Brusho's and here is the outcome

The materials used to make this piece were as follows:

Watercolour Card
5x7 Card
Back Card
Brusho's
Water
Pipetter
Canned Air
Sequins
Visible Image Stamp Set NEW - Outside The Lines
Black Watercolour Pencil
White Gel Pen

I was so pleased with how both of these cards came out and hope they have given you some inspiration.

An ATC Day

Hi all

The next ATC to show you is one of my most favourite I have done so far

For this one I used the following:
Watercolour Card
Distress Inks
Blending Tool
Lawn Fawn Sending Hedgehugs Stamps
Distress Ink Marker - Black Soot
White Gel Pen
Inkylicious Stencil

The third ATC I did is this one

For this one I used the following:
Watercolour Card
Distress Inks
Blending Tool
Bee Crafty (Inspired by not endorsed by Banksy) Stamp

Playing With Vellum

Hello all :)

Today's post is as you can guess from the title about playing with Vellum, now I have never used vellum before and after watching one of Jennifer Ever's videos on You Tube where she did some beautiful Vellum Butterflies I just had to give it a try.

So here they are

I used the following products:
Vellum
Spectrum Noir Markers
Black Embossing Powder by WOW
Versamark Ink Pad
Visible Image Large Butterfly Stamp - left butterflies
Recollections Stamps - middle and right butterflies
Heat Tool
Stickles - Diamond and Star Dust
Do Crafts Pearl Effects

I love how these turned out, I will admit I was a little nervous with how they would turn out especially with using stickles on them but remembered that Jen's turned out beautifully and low and behold so did these, I left them over night to dry and then fussy cut them out.

I intend to use these on different projects so keep a look out for those and I am sure you will recognise them when you see them.

Hampton Art- Stamp Perfect Tool

COOOOEEEE!!
Just flying in to share with you all my new toy :) and to share my thoughts on this tool.

So as the title of this post says the new toy is the Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool, which is in all honesty a more affordable stamp precision tool it is very much like the well known Misti.

Here is the Stamp Perfect Tool

The stamp perfect in my eyes is absolutely perfect I LOVE mine there are only a few differences between this and the Misti, the main and biggest difference for me is the price I paid £27.49 posted fro Buddly Crafts (i will link at the end of this post of where you can purchase your very own) which is amazing and one of the main reasons I went for this over the Misti as the price for the Misti is way out of my budget.

The stamp perfect is slightly smaller than the Misti and bigger than the Mini Misti so I would say it is in-between the two. The actual size of this is approx: 7 in x 9 in with lid closed and the stamping area is 7.375 in x 5.5 in so with this in mind you can not use the big background stamps, for me is not a problem at all as I do not use them.

It does come with two very strong magnets (so make sure to keep them away from each other) these are found on the under-side of the tool, it also comes with a foam pad which is used with clear stamps you only remove this when using cling stamps (like the big red one's for example).

This tool is perfect for precision stamping and for using layered stamps and for doing multiple cards in one go. it is so easy to use.
For me it is going to be my most used tool as stamping with acrylic blocks or a stamp press (one of the acrylic blocks with sponges) can be difficult at times especially when my Fibromyalgia is very bad in my hands so would also be perfect for anyone who suffers with arthritis.

So if you have been wanting a Misti but can not afford or justify the cost of the Misti then this is ideal, It has also been mentioned that Hampton Art are bringing out a 10 in x 10in Stamp Perfect and is being released end of Feb beginning of March so if you do use the big background stamps you will be able to with the new one.

I purchased my Stamp Perfect from Buddly Crafts another stockist of this is Craftie Charlie there may be other UK stockists but these were the two i checked as when I ordered mine Craftie Charlie did not have it in stock.

If you need any more information or want to see how it is used and so on, there are some videos on You Tube where you can find comparison videos of the Misti and Stamp Perfect and so on.

I hope this has been some help to you

All of these ATC's have been made using different products and the images are designed by Vera Lane Studios, which I have printed and coloured in using a mix of Promarkers and Sharpie markers.

Dylusions Border Stamp
Vera Lane Studios Digi Stamp -  Calcas 5 digi stamp bundle
White gel pen

Promarkers and Sharpie Markers

Pineapple ATC

Now this ATC, was another I couldn't resist doing once I had got the digi... When I first got into planners earlier this year I kept seeing pineapple stationery, pineapple planner accessories and so on ever where and could never quite grasp WHY????.. So when I found out about the quote I understood and love the quote.

For this ATC I used the following products
Watercolour Card

And lastly we have this ATC called Sweet and Undefinable

I absolutely loved how all these ATC's came out once I was finished, The digi stamps from Vera Lane Studios are amazing to work with and I love the look of them all, I will be doing more work using these digi stamps in the future. If you would like to take a look at what other digi's there is you can find the shop on Etsy, there is also a Facebook page and group, I shall link those below.

Crafty Sunday -

Hi all

Well It has been a long time since I have been able to craft on a weekend for me (custom orders needed doing lol) and I took full advantage of being able to do just that.

So today I have done another ATC YAY!!! on this one I did a few techniques I have not done before and I think trying them on an ATC is perfect due to the size of them and I am over the moon with the outcome.

Here is today's ATC

I used the following products to make this ATC
Watercolour Card
Distress Inks
Memento Ink - Black
Dew Drop Brilliance Ink - White
Sponge Finger Dobber
Circle Stencil
Visible Image Stamps - Where dreams take you and Edgy

The techniques used on this ATC were.. Watercolour using Distress Inks, and the Bokeh Technique.

I also started on another project which I will blog about properly in a new post as soon as it is completed, I have not been able to get it finished today due to leaving it to dry and so on but I do have a little sneak peek of my WIP (Work In Progress) to show you all.

Any ideas on what I could be doing???

Make sure to pop back in a few days to find out what the above is and what I used to create it.

Gorjuss ATC

Hi all

Today's post is another ATC post, I think I have caught the ATC bug lol

I wanted to do something a little different with this one and finally use one of the beautiful mini collectible Gorjuss Girls stamp.

For this ATC I used the following:
Distress Inks - Picked Raspberry and Black Soot
Gorjuss Girls Stamp - The Getaway
Watercolour Pens
Sentiment is from - Quote Bubbles Set by Dylusions

I thought the quote I chose for this suited the image perfectly with how she is stood - Yeah "Don't give me attitude I already have it!"

Hope you like what I have done and keep your eyes open for more ATC's
