My Little Mermaid

Hey Hey

Yes you guessed it my third and final scrapbook layout I did at my local crop is being shared with you all today.

This layout was so much fun to do and here it is

My Adorable Little Mermaid

I just had to do a layout using this picture my Brother sent me of my Niece in the Mermaid Tail Blanket I made for her (yes I crochet too :) ). Looks like little miss is saying "Not another picture Daddy?? What are you doing to me?"

She looks so cute, I have been asked to make another but a bit bigger for her so I reckon once its done I will get another picture sent over of her in that one hehe.

I have used the Dream Big Collection for this layout .

Here is a close up of a quote I included on the layout, this quote is so so true...

I love how colourful the layout is and how well it matches the photo.

Love You Scrapbook Layout

Today I have a 12x12 Scrapbook layout to share with you all.

This layout is a very special layout as it is of my Grandad and a special tattoo I had done in his memory.

I absolutely LOVE how this layout came together, The paper I used to do my layout on is a Shimelle paper.

My Grandad was and still is my hero, my shining star who i miss dearly. He had Alzheimers, Dementia, and Cancer behind his eye he fought so hard and for so long but on the 29th October 2003 he closed his eyes one last time. No longer in pain but at peace but left a BIG hole in our hearts.
My Grandad held on for my Nan's birthday which is 28th October.

Here is some close up pictures of my layout.

The sentiment above which is in the middle of my photographs fits so so well and is so true as my Grandad is my sun my moon and all my stars.

Here is a close up of the picture of my Grandad, This is my favourite picture of him and one i cherish the most. That face and twinkle in his eye says it all. He was one of the most amazing gentlemen you would have ever met, a family man who adored us all. This man taught me so much as i was growing up we did everything together. Not a day goes by that i don't think about him.

Here is a close up of the picture of my tattoo which is on my left forearm and it reads "My Guardian Angel Grandad 28.11.25 - 29.10.03

I hope you like what I have done with this layout and I hope it gives you some inspiration to scrap those photographs of your lost loved ones. These can be the hardest layouts to do but can also be the most rewarding to know you have accomplished that difficult hurdle to make these precious photographs into a work of art.

Products Used:
Shimelle Starshine 12 x 12 Paper
Shimelle Starshine chipboard stickers
Pink Paislee - Fancy Free Collection Thickers
3d Glitter Foam Star Stickers
Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers

Meeting Chubby Scrapbook Layout

Hello all

Today I wanted to share with you all a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout I have been busy working on and as you may have guessed from the title it is to do with the one and only Chubby Brown.

The picture featured on this layout is of myself and my eldest brother with Roy Chubby Brown. Behind the photo is a tag which I have done some journalling on about the night.

On 28th December 2013 we went to see Chubby Brown Live, which was an amazing night. We had been bought up around Chubby Brown due to my Dad being a massive fan of his. Unfortunately due to my Dad's health he couldn't come with me to watch the show, So me and my Brother went but before going and without my brother knowing, I emailed the theatre explaining about my Dad and his health and so on and asked if it would be possible to meet Chubby before his show. I can honestly say I never in a million years thought we would get that opportunity BUT I got an email back, the theatre had passed on my email to Chubby's manager who spoke with Chubby and he had agreed to meet us. I was sooooo excited so I had to call my brother straight away and yes he was buzzing too.

On the night we were both so nervous in meeting him but Roy was absolutely amazing so welcoming and such a humble down to earth guy. He asked how my Dad was and said he was so sorry to read that my Dad couldn't make it and was happy to be able to meet us on his behalf. I took Chubby's latest DVD at the time with me which was a present for my dad and got it signed he even signed his autobiography for me EEEEEKKK!!

The whole experience was AMAZING! the show was outstanding we enjoyed every single minute of it.

Here is a close up of the picture

On this layout I used the following products:

Seasons of Cheer Designer Series Paper (Retired)
Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers
Thickers

Such a simple layout but one that holds an amazing memory which had to be done as a scrapbook layout.

So what was I facing?

My Fear of Spiders!!!!!

I didn't just do the usual face your fear by holding a spider.......... I went to the EXTREME
With the help if the wonderful Dale from Critterish Allsorts and his Chile Rose Tarantula called Fluffy yes you read that right her name was Fluffy!!.... So I bet your sat there thinking ok a tarantula is the going to the EXTREME - Erm nope sorry.

Going to the EXTREME was having Fluffy on my FACE!!!

Here is my layout.

This first page features some of the cards from the Memories and More card pack called Perfect Days. I took this picture before I did any journaling as some information on this layout is private.

This is the reverse side of the layout and on this side as you can see on the big photo at the bottom yes that is me lay on the floor with a Chile Rose Tarantula on my face!!!
The top right hand side includes a small collage of pictures of myself doing the face my fear there is also a picture within the collage of myself with Dale and Kyle who at that time was the Mayor of Kidsgrove and my reward for doing this big challenge was a certificate and cuddles with the beautiful Skittles ( A Skunk).

On this side of the layout again I used some of the Memories and More Cards from the Perfect Days pack, I have also used some of the beautiful Coffee Cafe DSP papers to back my photographs on.

My wonderful partner even made a video and put it on you tube. So I thought I would include it in this post for you all to see.

Birthday Boy

Hello All

Today is a scrapbook layout share. This is another I have been itching to share with you all as the products I have used on this piece are from the Kaisercraft Factory 42 Range.

The moment I saw this range I fell in love with it and was so happy to see that it was part of our Crop Kit for August YAY!

So here is the layout, which I did do while at the Crop. As soon as I saw what was included in our kit I knew straight away what layout this was perfect for.

This layout is of my wonderful hubby to be on his 30th Birthday, the reason I wanted to use this range for this layout is because he is a mechanic. Yes his birthday cake was a Top Gear cake :D

Now for some close up pictures of different parts of the layout

Birthday Boy tucking in to his cake, the sticker i put onto this picture fitted so well and is so true "a party without cake is just a meeting"

I have to admit this has got to be one of my favourite layouts out of all the ones I have done so far. The kit which we had at the crop was supplied by Charmed Cards and Crafts and I have to say it has been my favourite kit to date.

This really does have a steampunk mechanical feel to it and it fits my hubby to be so so well, and I reckon I will be ordering more of these papers and embellishments. Can never have enough Steampunk/Mechanical goodies ;)

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout and it inspires you.

Brotherly Love

Hi all

Today I have another scrapbook layout to share with you all, this one is the one I briefly mentioned in my last scrapbook layout post.

Another difficult layout to do but needed to be done as the pictures used are filled with cherished memories.

So here is my Brotherly Love Layout

I have kept this layout simple as I felt it did not need much doing to it as the pictures speak for them selves. The top left hand picture is of my Hubby To Be and his little brother Sandor who is the youngest, and the bottom right picture is of hubby to be's little brother Sandor and his younger brother David who we suddenly lost on 16th August 2016.

So as you can imagine this was such a hard and upsetting layout to do but It felt the right time to do it. Now for some close up pictures of the layout.

I thought these Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers fitted really well with this layout.

I have used some retired Stampin' Up! products on this layout, the retired products I have used are Urban Underground Designer Series Papers and Urban Embellishments.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this layout and it inspires you to scrap those happy memories of lost loved ones. Always remember do not feel bad for not doing these sort of layouts as of yet, you will do them when you feel ready.
