Altered Hoop Mixed Media

Hi All.

Today I have something a little bit more dark and Gothic to share with you all, this project was a bit of a light bulb moment, so here it is 

A Gothic Dream Catcher

I absolutely love how this turned out,I am so happy and pleased with it. The above picture is taken with the flash to show the amazing colours.

Here are some pictures of the Dream Catcher without the flash and a couple of close up shots of the Raven Skull in the centre which is a 3D printed piece.

I am thinking of doing more of these in all different colours and themes so keep your eyes open for those and who knows you could own your very own ;)

I hope you like what I have done with this piece and it inspires you to go with those light bulb, go with the flow moments.

Skulls and Roses Chest Of Drawers

Hi all

Today I am sharing with you another DT project for Pickle Paper Patch using the awesome Spells & Potions Pickle Pack which was a sell out!!

So what have I created this time?....... Well here it is.....

This beauty has been made using products from the Pickle Pack and my very own stash. I will list the products used at the end of this post.

Now for some more pictures to show you the sides and the top.

As you can see on the sides of the drawers there is some beautiful purple roses.

On the top you can see the beautiful Skull mirror, and the embellishments which include two glass vials that have some red re-inker inside, some beautiful little purple paper roses, a tiny key, tiny clock and a skull charm and a mini skull. To finish this off I have also added some beautiful metal corners.

And the final picture to show the whole project.

To do this project I have used from the Spells & Potions Pickle Pack

Roses on the sides are from the Sticker sheet

Mirror surround is from the Acetate embellishment pack

Skull is a sticker from the sticker sheet.

I have absolutely loved bringing this little piece to life and I am so happy with the final result, it is now sat on my shelf in my craft room for all to see.

Halloween Altered Coffin

Hi all

Today I have something fun and spooky to share with you all as part of my Design Team inspiration for Pickle Paper Patch 

This project has been made using some of the products from the Spells & Potions Pickle Pack, this was the kit for September which not surprising has completely sold out!

So here is my inspiration piece

Now let's open it up and show you the inside shall we ;P

To do this altered coffin I used the following products from the Spells & Potions Pickle Pack:

Cheesecloth

Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam

Chipboard Pumpkin

Mini Bottles with Cork 

1 Sheet of the 12x12 papers (there is 8 sheets altogether in the kit which are double sided)

Steampunk Skull Mixed Media Keepsake Box

Hi All

Welcome back to another blog post, Today's post is a mixed media piece which I have created for the Samhain/Halloween Market Night I am taking part in, so the box will be available to purchase from there.. All details of this will be at the end of this post.

Now let's get to showing you all the Keepsake Box

The whole box has been made from medium weight chipboard which has then been given a generous coating of Black Gesso.

The lid features a beautiful Steampunk Skull which has been achieved using a mixture of products including Copper Guilding Flakes, It also features some cogs which have been cue from greay board these have then been painted black and then given a highlight of metallic copper paint 

On the sides and front again there is more of the cogs

The closure is magnetic so it can be kept closed and is easy to open

The inside of the box has been lined with some beautiful metallic grey textured card stock.

My Papercuts

Hi all 

Today I thought I would share with you all another craft I do, I had always been interested in Paper cutting and loved seeing all the different creations.

So my paper cutting journey started with just a starter kit which included everything I needed to get into this wonderful craft.

After these I was surprised how well I did them so I got stuck in with other parts from the kit, as I was using the kit I also looked into other paper cutting designers one of which I already knew of as I purchase a lot with her which is Crafty Hana.

 Then I came across Wild Child Designs and I fell in love with these designs as there right up my street, So I made a wish list and started to purchase the one's I really liked first and again could not wait to get stuck in and cut.

Here is the first big design I cut

I then went on to doing more and here they are

I have also got other designs by other talented designers including Quirky Crafts and here is one of them I cut 

I absolutely love paper cutting and find it so relaxing, I will admit though I haven't done any for a while and starting to get itchy fingers to do some more designs which I have purchased. All of these paper cuts have been designed by the people mentioned I just do the fun and tricky part and that is cutting to make them come to life.

Blast From The Passed

Hi all

Today's post I thought I would share with you all some Blast From The Passed cards I made which all have Delicious Doodles Digi Images on which I have colours. Some of the are inspiration makes from when I was on the Design Team, I am slowly getting back into colouring in Digi's with my Promarkers I have actually missed doing it and I am hoping to incorporate them into some Mixed Media makes too :D 

Looking back on passed makes really does make me smile and shows how far I have come in my crafty journey I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I did making them :) I will also link you too each Digi Stamp that is used in the makes.

This one is a mix of two of the Delicious Doodles Digi's We have Beach Huts and Ice Cream Sundae. You can find the Beach Huts HERE

This is another of my favourite makes well of cause it has skulls lol, This one is a mix of a digi,sentiment and background paper by Delicious Doodles. The digi is called Skully Santa and can be found HERE

Here we have Woodland Friends again in a more of a Autumnal theme, you can find this dige HERE

This one is a mixture of Digi's and Background papers.. In this make we have the following: Gates Of Hell, Gravestone Scene, Horrorscope Capricorn and Pile Of Bones Backing.

This one we have a mixture of digi's and backing papers again: in this one I used the following: Pirate Polly, Treasure Map and Damask Background

This one I added in my all time favourite inspirational quote " Magic is believing in yourself, If you can do that you can make anything happen", The digi used on this piece is called Rose and Butterfly Frame.

This one was made using a template and includes a gift box on the side which includes four tea light candles. The digi used on this one is called Daffodil's and Butterfly Frame

And last one I wanted to share with you all is this one. The digi's used on this one are the following: Celtic Fairy, Celtic Crosses and Lucky Clover Corner

I absolutely love Terri's work and I have seen her work changes through the years and she even has three colouring books out :O. I will admit there is a fair few of the new Digi's that I would love to add to my collection and will be doing as soon as I can.
